I made two.  My first was Version A (floral) sewn completely as drafted (even though I'm only 5'2") with my shorter height it comes to just below my knee and that was perfect.  I had double checked the length from my waist to my knee against the pattern piece before sewing and I was pretty sure that I would have the length I wanted.
For this skirt the most important measurement is your waist.  Pick your size based upon your waist only.  Don't blend up or down for your hips it won't matter with the gathering at the waistband there is plenty of ease to accommodate a few size differences there.  Don't be like me and think you know what your waist measures at the moment.  If you notice pulling at the waist on my blue linen/rayon version it is because I was optimistic and my waist is too tight.
My second version is also View A with two inches added in length.  I wanted this one to fit tighter and accent my waist a bit, so it has a higher rise and I had to add a bit of length.  I probably would have been fine just adding an inch.  I made a Drop Shoulder Blouse (affiliate) out of rayon fabric to pair with this skirt.  I love the speed you can make a woven blouse when you use a dolman sleeve pattern.  The blouse has facings for the neckline and sleeves or you can finish it with bands.  It can be made with the scoop neck or a v-neck and is suitable for both woven or knit fabrics, so it is a really amazing wardrobe staple.
I hope this shorter post is okay.  I've got to get back to being a Mom and make the kids finish school and start dinner. I'm happy to answer any questions in the comments section.
Happy Sewing!
